Greetings!!!

I am the Head of the Theatre Design, Technology and Stage Management Program at Wright State University in Dayton, OH. I am in my 25th year here and my 32nd as a university professor of entertainment design and production. In addition to my primary work as an educator, I have been fortunate to design for many wonderful companies over the years, both stateside and in Italy. While I am primarily a lighting designer, both in my heart and in my career, I have many years of experience as a theatrical consultant, production manager, projection designer, and sound designer.

I am married to Heather, a former Equity Stage Manager, which is a good thing. Not sure anyone outside the business would put up with my hours. I have (4) amazing children, ranging in age from 7 - 35. And, no, that is NOT a typo. Add to that (2) wonderful grand-kids, and there you have it. Me in a nutshell.
